Fort Ewell was small fort just 31 miles North of Richmond. The fort got it's name from it's creator; Richard Ewell, who started construction on the fort on February 9, 1861, from orders by Robert E. Lee. Ewell keeps 1 division by the fort at all times with nearly 5,491 men in the division.

Behind the fort is a mountain that reaches about 139 feet in the air, and occasionally Ewell will place cannons up there.
