The Battle of Laurel Junction was a minor engagement in the Take Command War where just around 3,500 Northern soldiers attacked a Rebel fortification. Guarding it were 3,000 Confederate's under Jubal A. Early. Eventually, the Confederate's fought off the Northern soldiers despite losing 7 more casualties than the Union.
